Nigel Thomas is the Coordinator of Employee Assistance and Workplace Support at Families in Action in Trinidad and Tobago, one of the Caribbean’s leading providers of organizational behavioral health and workplace support services. He oversees a multidisciplinary clinical and EAP operations team that delivers comprehensive EAP, crisis response, and organizational wellbeing solutions across industries in Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Suriname, and other English-, Spanish-, and Dutch-speaking Caribbean territories. In this role, he provides strategic oversight, systems alignment, and quality governance to ensure effective, high-impact service delivery to public, private, and regional partners.
A Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) and registered mediator, Nigel brings more than 13 years of professional practice to the field. He is an experienced facilitator, crisis responder, and workplace interventionist whose work spans organizational consulting, training design, and stakeholder engagement. His expertise is grounded in advanced training in trauma, PTSD, grief, loss, and evidence-based behavioral health interventions, allowing him to support individuals and organizations through complex psychosocial challenges.
