Throughout the world, workers rely on Employee Assistance Professionals in the workplace to address life altering issues such as mental health concerns, financial distress, domestic care, or post traumatic stress disorders. EAPA is the organization that supports the unsung heroes, EAPs. EAPA provides professional development, continuing education, certification indicating the highest EA skills, knowledge, ethics, and practice, as well as advocacy and support to EAs.
Your support makes an amazing difference!
Because of your donations:
EAPs attend the annual Conference on scholarship
EAPs receive new and cutting edge education
EAPs receive opportunities to attend 16 free webinars and earn PDHs each year
EAPA supports mentorship and nurtures the development of future EAPs
EAPA advocates for support of US laws and policies in areas of mental health and EAP work
"Why do I give to EAPA? I believe in putting my money where my mouth is. EAPA has given so much to myself, to the Employee Assistance field and to the world at large. This donation has exponential power. When a worker finds themselves whole again, it is brought home to their family and passed along to the outside community. EAPA has become my single targeted choice since it filters through all levels with a global reach. I am fortunate that my employer has a matching gift policy and I use that to double my donation." -Dan Boissonneault, EAPA Member Building a better EAP world through
education, support, and advocacy
Our work to be the global voice of the Employee Assistance field is more vital now than ever before.
Over this past year, EAPA has:
Developed and offered more virtual training for EAPs and Substance Abuse Professionals (SAPs) such as 20 Free Friday Webinars, 50 Wednesday Wellness Conversations, Leadership, Violence in the Workplace, Marijuana Update, the full-day Virtual Conference, and more!
Launched a refreshed, online CEAP Credentialing program. Working on CEAP Plus and CEAP Global for future opportunities.
...and there is much more to come!
Your donation to EAPA will help fund efforts by EAPA to:
Provide scholarships to the EAPA Conference for deserving EAPs
Create even more new educational programs
Continue to support and advocate for the EAP community
Let the world know how EA Professionals help create a more productive and engaged workforce
Why should I leave a gift in my will or estate for EAPA? You should do this because:
You believe in the mission and the work of EAPA and want to support the development of EAPs.
You are grateful for the support, services and comradery you received and want to support other members and EAPA initiatives.
You want to "pay it forward" so other can benefit.
What are the benefits of making a gift plan?
It may allow you to give a gift greater than you would during your lifetime because it can be structured to gift assets after both you and your spouse have passed.
It allows you to direct the way in which your assets are used and managed, rather than handing over your life’s work and savings to the government to make those decisions.
It can provide current tax benefits and tax-efficient charitable strategies.
If you would like to speak with the CEO about leaving a planned gift to ensure EAPA will be here for future EAPs and workers, please email us at ceo@eapassn.org.
