CEAP Inactive

CEAP Inactive

A CEAP may place their certification on an inactive status, for a period up to three years, by applying prior to their expiration date or within their reinstatement period.

To apply for inactive status, this application must be submitted prior to expiration of current certification or within one year following expiration. The inactive status fee ($100US) must be submitted with application.

Inactive status will begin on the first day after the current certification cycle expires. If placed on inactive status, the CEAP may recertify by PDH and will not be subject to recertification by completing the CEAP® certification course. While on inactive status, the CEAP is not considered “active” and will not be listed in the CEAP® Directory, nor in the “Verify a CEAP®” process.

A CEAP, whose certification is on inactive status, may recertify at any time prior to the expiration of the three-year inactive status term. To reactivate your CEAP®, you must recertify by PDHs. All CEAPs are subject to the CEAP® Code of Conduct during the inactive status term.
