Stephanie Buerkel ("Steph") is excited to be part of the EAPA team. A proud Philadelphia native and lifelong E-A-G-L-E-S fan, Steph was an elite and collegiate gymnast who went on to graduate from The Ohio State University with a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
After college, she began her career in pharmacy in New York City. In 2016, Steph discovered a deep passion for mental health and joined the EAPA Board in Pittsburgh. In 2023, she relocated to Newport Beach, California, where she now serves on the Orange County EAPA Board.
Steph is a dedicated advocate for mental health awareness, frequently presenting to corporations and employee assistance programs across the country. She remains active in the athletic community and recently completed the Los Angeles Marathon in March 2025.
Her passions include sports, running, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying the beach lifestyle.
