1) Subject Matter Expert: Work with the EACC on CEAP Certification
- Requirements:
Must be an expert in a specific Employee Assistance Program (EAP) subject matter.
- Certification:
CEAP certification is a prerequisite, indicating that the candidate has achieved the Certified Employee Assistance Professional designation.
- Responsibilities:
Share expertise in the designated subject matter, possibly by providing guidance, answering questions, or contributing to discussions within the EAP community.
2) JEA Communications Committee: Work in writing, editing, and finding articles for the Journal of Employee Assistance
- Requirements:
Open to individuals with strong editing skills, capable of writing or acquiring Employee Assistance Program (EAP) related articles.
- Responsibilities:
Edit, write, or source articles related to EAP. This could involve ensuring content accuracy, clarity, and relevance to the audience. Editors may also be responsible for acquiring content from various sources.
3) CEAP Mentorship Program: Work in partnership with EACC members in teaching specifics of EAP work to CEAP candidates
- Requirements:
CEAP certification is a prerequisite, along with relevant experience in the field.
- Frequency:
2 times per year
- Responsibilities:
Engage in mentoring activities to support individuals who are pursuing or have obtained CEAP certification. Share insights, advice, and guidance to help mentees navigate their career paths within the EAP field.
4) Wednesday Wellness Host:
- Frequency:
This role requires commitment 2 sessions every quarter.
- Responsibilities:
Host wellness sessions or events on Wednesdays. These could include facilitating discussions focused on promoting well-being within the EAP community. The host, in conjunction with EAPA staff, will be responsible for leading
and facilitating these sessions.
