
Virtual 'ZZ' Chapter

The ZZ01 Chapter is a chapter option for members that either do not have a local chapter affiliate or cannot find a chapter they chose to join.
It is mandatory for EAPA Members to join a local chapter. If none is selected, or if a chapter dissolves without a chapter reassignment selection, EAPA members will be designated to the ZZ Chapter.

Why should I attend?
Chapter meetings are a great way to deepen understanding on topics, make professional contacts, network, discover new resources, and develop new skills.
Chapter program:
A segment of each meeting is dedicated to the introduction of members and non-members. We encourage all attendees to make announcements about upcoming events, news related to the field, and job opportunities. After announcements, an educational training is presented.
Continuing education:
ZZ Chapter meetings will primarily provide continuing education and professional development.

Topic: Business 101 for EA Clinicians
This session will introduce participants to the basic steps required to plan, start, and run a business. The course is designed for individuals who are considering going out on their own to run their own private practice.
Objectives
Identify the risks, benefits, opportunities, and drawbacks of running your own business.
Evaluate the appropriate legal and tax structure, required licenses, and
regulations for your business.
Develop a basic understanding of the fundamental concepts of business
operations including: Business plan development, Financial Planning, and Infrastructure requirements for successful business
