Emotional Intelligence Unplugged: Empathy, Resilience, and the Human Connection

What is Presented?

In an era where workplace pressures can easily lead to burnout, cultivating resilience has become a critical skill for professionals. This interactive workshop will delve deep into the core elements of resilience, focusing on the importance of setting healthy boundaries, giving and receiving feedback effectively, and managing burnout with the aid of emotional intelligence (EQ). Participants will engage in practical exercises and discussions designed to equip them with tools to enhance their well-being and performance. Led by Dr. Claire Muselman, a behavioral scientist at Drake University and an expert in organizational resilience, this workshop offers actionable strategies to foster a sustainable and healthy work environment.

About the Presenter: Claire Muselman, Ph.D.

Dr. Claire Muselman is a dynamic leader and expert in emotional intelligence, empathy, and resilience within the workplace. With extensive experience in the workers' compensation industry, she brings a unique perspective to enhancing human connection in professional environments. Dr. Muselman founded DCM, a consulting organization dedicated to leadership development and organizational excellence. In addition to her consulting work, she serves as a faculty member at Drake University, where she teaches courses on personal branding and human resources management, shaping the next generation of leaders. Her engaging approach and vibrant energy have inspired countless professionals and students alike to cultivate emotionally intelligent and resilient workplaces. As a sought-after speaker, she is passionate about empowering individuals to thrive both personally and professionally.
